Bath Time

Our nightly bedtime ritual has grown to include bath time - not because Breckin really gets that dirty (although the rolls around his neck do collect some funk!) but because supposedly it helps to distinguish night time sleep from nap sleep. It must be working pretty well because we're slowly getting a little bit more sleep at night. We have gotten almost 5 1/2 hours at a stretch - not every night but even once in a while is an amazing feeling!

Breckin really enjoys bath time. He smiles and kicks his legs and flails his arms splashing mom and dad. He doesn't even fuss when his rookie parents get water in his eyes! But, he's not really a fan of getting out of the bath tub. Most evenings mom and dad frantically try to distract and entertain during the drying, diapering, lotioning and pajama-putting-on process so Breckin forgets he just got out of the tub.

Ooooohhh, this feels great!

Which way to the gun show?

we did this with all of our kids! It works great. it also works good when in a few months you are trying to keep them up till at least 7pm...bath time helps extend everything. And makes a bad mood good! usually... He is a cutie-patootie!

Breckin is too cute and is getting bigger by the day it looks like! He's a big boy! And he sounds like Camdyn...he throws a fit every time he has to get out of the bath!

Look at those little-man muscles!! How adorable. I agree with the above comments, bath time definitely establishes a "routine" and Pierce LOVES bath time now. It's a good way to pass 30 minutes =)
