Wake, poop, cry, eat, poop, cry, sleep, poop, cry, eat, poop, cry, sleep, poop, cry....that is pretty much the never ending cycle at the Lasher house right now. And yes, he does cry that much. Breckin absolutely hates having his diaper changed. We just put him down on the changing pad and he cries. That alone gets tiring. Who knew that feeding and chaing a baby would be so tiring?
Hmmm, what should I do while everyone sleeps? Poop? Cry? Sleep?

I remember these days oh so vividly. Keep your chin up, it will get better! It's H.A.R.D and sometimes not fun but it's so worth it when they can start smiling at you and calling you mama. Oh melt your heart!!!! I know this is terrible to say but after the first month I was ready to call the adoption agency...it was SO much harder than I thought it was going to be. We are starting to think of having another one now so it goes to show that it does get better!!!! Praying for you friend!
Hang in there, friends... I can't say it gets easier, but it gets to be a different kind of hard - a kind where you get more sleep. :o) He's going to be smiling intentionally very soon, and you'll completely forget how tired you are.
We're praying for you guys!
*** I just read the comment before mine, that pretty much said the same thing. Ha! See... it's true!
That is too funny, and I say that out of appreciation. Camdyn cried a lot when he was a baby. Like Breckin, he HATED getting his diaper changed. But he sure LOVED being held...still does! It will get better soon. Hopefully he will start to get into a routine. But you know what? When he gets out of the baby stage, you'll miss those days SO much. Enjoy it while it lasts because it flies by so fast. Love you all!
Breckin sounds like you rule the house now
Love this post :) I am not going to lie it made me laugh...but like everyone else on here said...you will sleep again soon but it might not be until he is 18 :) Love you guys!
Aah, the diaper wars. Every kid I've nannyed for tryed to win the diaper wars...I could write a book. Don't give in to the fear. Just wait until he can kick and squirm away. You have to be QUICK! And learn how to hold him down with your elbow while holding his feet. You'll get it. For now...maybe it's cold and it's that?
I know it's completely different when it's your own, I can't speak from experience yet. I'm sure everything will be a lot worse when I don't get to leave/go home and sleep, etc.
