Last summer, well last year, was an unusal year for Texas weather. We only had about 10 days of 100 degree weather, which is quite a surprise. They were talking about a drought and super hot weather. All we saw were ice storms, rain, warm weather, rain, and rain. Well this year we seem to be getting ready for the typcial summer weather. Usually we only have 80 degree weather this time of year. Nearly every day for the last two weeks has already hit the 90s. And we aren't even into summer yet.
Maya is learning to adjust her play habits and ways of cooling down. She no longer wants to play for hours on end. Now she only wants to play for a few minutes before its time to go in and lay on the floor. Here is how she likes to cool down.
